Brian Froud and his art, my blog picture

 

Brian Froud is an amazing artist whose art has been shown in a lot more places than most people realize. He has put out several books of his active imagination on fairies, trolls, goblins, and more. His creations have been a part of the movies "Dark Crystal" and "Labyrinth." I feel his drawings represent what real fairies, goblins, trolls, and such look like unlike Tinkerbell from Disney.  This picture comes from a book called,  "Good Faeries, Bad Faeries" and this is one of the "bad" ones. Lol. This fairy reminds me of what I am actually like, with how goofy I can be, my love of the fairie/troll/goblin realm, being anxious, and not exactly defined as 'good.'
