Far too long, the Bahamas
I've been away for far too long, however, in my defense, it's been busy.
In January, my family gifted me with a cruise to the Bahamas. I would post more pictures, but I went a little insane as there are WAY too many pictures of everything. The water pic is from Half Moon Cay, the lizard pic is from Florida before we got on the ship, the next picture is the Carnival Conquest, and the last is Nassau. It was a blast and I didn't want to leave.
Of course, I got quite a few souvenirs from my trip in addition to all the photos. My favorite place was Half Moon Cay, as the sand is white, feels like baby powder on your feet, and wasn't hot or burning under your feet. The water is SO blue, like the raspberry/blue Kool-Aid, and the fish are not afraid of you. I would sit in the water and just giggle as I couldn't stay still because of the waves tossing me around. I got to feel under the sand in the water and found these very delicate, very white, and tiny shells. My youngest granddaughter was upset that she couldn't get any until I showed her how easy it was. Then that turkey managed to find better and more colorful shells. I took a small bit of sand with the shells, and it is by far my favorite souvenier from Half Moon Cay.
