Rob Zombie and Filter

Three generations of liking the same music!

Opening act: Filter

Rob Zombie!

This concert was a Mother's Day present for me, and I loved it. This was certainly an original idea for Mother's Day. Lol. We went to Mystic Lake Casino and walked to the outdoor venue. It was NOT a short walk, but we didn't complain once. The weather was perfect, the walk was actually nice, and the prices for food, drinks, concert merch...was ridiculous! It was a good thing that we ate before going, although we did buy some stuff there. It was $30 just for 3 lemonades and I won't go into how much it cost for nachos and mini donuts. Ugh.

What really surprised me was the average age of the concertgoers. There were a fair number of young adults however, most of the crowd had to be 40 years old on up. It was cool though as they tended to be a lot friendlier than the younger ones. RUDE! Lol. I threatened to do my angry Hobbit dance at the next person who got in front of us and others' view. Ryanne asked me not to after Charell explained to her that she would have to live with the image of Grandma making an idiot of herself, and sitting back down next to her so everyone would know that I was related to her. I was bummed that Charell said anything, as Ryanne dared me and was going to give me $20 for it. Dammit!

It was a fun and great show. I would so go again if Rob Zombie comes back here.
