Social Media sucks (for the most part)

The humidity in my area of Minnesota sucks big time. My air conditioner can't keep up with it (and I don't think I'll make another hot summer with this one), and a dehumidifier would probably have to be emptied out every hour. It's that bad right now.

TikTok is going into right-wing madness in September. So much for being able to speak your mind. No wonder Trump extended the grace period for TikTok, as he or someone on his staff knew that this joke of a social media site was going to bow to the right and their demands. It's my opinion, and I could be wrong.

The Twin Cities paper, City Pages, hasn't been around since last fall, as the Star and Tribune decided (parent company) it was no longer financially viable to continue. They have a new paper that came out, called "Racket," and I have subscribed to it. I miss getting a free City Pages paper, and I guess it would be expensive to continue. I hope that "Racket" does the same thing that City Pages did. City Pages was more left-wing compared to the Star and Tribune

Because of all the new disadvantages of being able to speak freely,  I'm eliminating my TikTok account as soon as I find a good replacement for it. I would get rid of my Instagram; however, I have family on it in addition to my Facebook account. I'm tired of the rich right-wing people getting a say in what is considered acceptable as free speech or not. It's not free speech if you can't speak freely. No one needs to decide that to fit their own agenda.
